R-21-88 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A <br />PORTION OF COLTON AVENUE (UNIMPROVED) BETWEEN <br />HERMOSA AND MERIDIAN AVENUES <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />et. seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, <br />hereby finds from all the evidences submitted that the portion of <br />that certain portion of Colton Avenue north half section 19, <br />T.1.3, R.4.W. S.B.B.&M. as conveyed to the City of Colton recorded <br />in Map Book 162, Page 281, official records of San Bernardino <br />County, State of California described as follows: <br />Bounded by Meridian Avenue on the west, bounded by <br />Hermosa Avenue on the east, bounded by Government <br />Lot 2 on the north, bounded by a portion of Govern- <br />ment Lot 3 on the south. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes <br />and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of <br />said Colton Avenue (unimproved). <br />Section 2. Accordingly the City Council of the City of <br />Colton hereby orders the vacation of the hereinbefore described <br />Colton Avenue. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of March, 1988 <br />FRANK,,—GOZALES <br />ATTEST: Ayor <br />HELEN A.
