Sale of Bonds. Sale of the Bonds is hereby <br />awarded to Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co., Inc. (the <br />"Purchaser") pursuant to the terms of the Purchaser's Proposal <br />for Purchase presented to this meeting relating to the Bonds. <br />The City Manager or the Assistant City Manager is authorized and <br />directed for and in the name of and on behalf of the Community <br />Facilities District to execute said Proposal for Purchase, and <br />the City Clerk is authorized and directed to attest the same. <br />Section 2. Approval of Preliminary Official State- <br />ment. The Preliminary Official Statement relating to the Bonds <br />prepared by M.F. Whipple & Co., Inc., as financing consultant <br />(the "Financing Consultant") to the City, and presented to this <br />-2- <br />
