1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />29 j <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />21 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER R-62-88 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON PROVIDING <br />FOR THE DESIGNATION OF A HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 736 NORTH LA CADENA DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has an Ordinance establishing rules and <br />regulations governing the designation, preservation and <br />perpetuation of Historic and Scenic properties (Ordinance Number <br />0-11-87); and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission did <br />consider at a duly and legally held Public Hearing the designation <br />of a historic house located at 736 North La Cadena Drive, known as <br />File Index Number HSP 1-88; and <br />WHEREAS, said Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission having <br />studied and researched said designation recommended approval of <br />said designation based on the following findings: <br />I. The house has significant character, interest, and value <br />as part of the development and heritage of the City of <br />Colton. <br />2. The. house is one of the few remaining examples in the <br />city possessing distinguishing characteristics of an <br />architectural type, specifically Spindle Queen Anne style <br />popular during 1880-19oo. <br />WHEREAS, said house to be designated is on property delineated by <br />Assessor Parcel Number 161-242-20; and <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been duly and legally held by the <br />City Council on the aforesaid recommendation of the Historic and <br />Scenic Preservation Commission; and <br />
