R-71-88 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING CAR ALLOWANCES <br />FOR DESIGNATED OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES. <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, California, <br />resolves: <br />The duties of certain officials and employees require <br />that they travel by motor vehicle. It is in the interests of <br />the City that such officials and employees provide themselves <br />with a motor vehicle for that purpose. The following car <br />allowances are authorized: <br />The persons holding the City offices or positions <br />listed below shall be paid the monthly sum shown: <br />POSITION MONTHLY SUM <br />Mayor & Council Members $200.00 <br />City Treasurer $150.00 <br />City Clerk $275.00 <br />City Manager $275.00 <br />Assistant City Manager $275.00 <br />Human Resources Manager $275.00 <br />Community Development Director $275.00 <br />Human Services Director $275.00 <br />Electric Utility Director $275.00 <br />As used herein "car allowance" is payment monthly of <br />a flat sum to a City official or City employee as compensation <br />for maintaining available for use, and using, a motor vehicle <br />for travel on City business. Report of miles traveled is not <br />required. Accounting of actual expenses is not required. The <br />sum payable shall be neither increased nor decreased due to <br />
