R-77-88 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A <br />PORTION OF AN ALLEY BETWEEN VALLEY BLVD. <br />AND "H" STREET AND GRAND AVE. EAST TO END <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />et. seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, <br />hereby finds from all the evidences submitted that the portion of <br />that certain portion of an alley between Valley Blvd. and "H" <br />Street and Grand Ave. east to end as shown on Tract No. 2235 <br />as per plan recorded in Book 31 of Maps, Page 94, records of <br />San Bernardino County, State of California described as follows: <br />Bounded by Lots 9 and 10 on the west, bounded by <br />Lots 1 and 18 on the east, bounded by Valley Blvd. <br />on the south, bounded by "H" Street on the north. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes <br />and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of <br />said alley way (unimproved), with the City reserving said 15 <br />feet in alley for utility easement purposes. <br />
