R -85 - <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING <br />THE RESULTS OF A "MELLO-ROOS COMMU- <br />NITY FACILITIES ACT OF 1982" SPECIAL <br />TAX AND BOND AUTHORIZATION ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local <br />Agency"), has previously declared its intention and held and <br />conducted proceedings relating to the issuance of bonds to be <br />secured by special taxes to pay for certain public capital facili- <br />ties in a community facilities district, as authorized pursuant <br />to the terms and provisions of the "Mello -Roos Community Facili- <br />ties Act of 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 <br />of the Government Code of the State of California, said Community <br />Facilities District being referred to as COMMUNITY FACILITIES <br />DISTRICT NO. 88-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "District"); <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, said legislative body did call for and order to be <br />held an election to submit to the qualified voters of the <br />District a proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness secured by <br />a special tax levy to pay for certain capital facilities in the <br />District; and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time said election has been held and the <br />measure voted upon, and this legislative body does desire to <br />declare the results of the election in accordance with the provi- <br />sions of the Elections Code of the State of California. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />
