RESOLUTION NO. R-97-88 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DETERMINING THE CONFORMITY <br />OF THE CITY'S DRAINAGE PLAN WITH THE <br />GENERAL DRAINAGE PLAN FOR THE COUNTY OF <br />SAN BERNARDINO <br />WHEREAS, Government Code Section 66483 authorizes the <br />City of Colton (the "City") to impose fees by local ordinance <br />for the purpose of defraying the actual or estimated costs of <br />constructing planned drainage facilities for neighborhood drainage <br />areas; and <br />WHEREAS, as the condition of imposing such fees, any <br />city situated in a county having a county -wide general drainage <br />plan must, by resolution, determine that the city's drainage plan <br />is in conformity with the county -wide drainage plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Flood Control <br />District has adopted a comprehensive storm drain plan for its <br />County Flood Control Study Zone 2 which includes territory located <br />within the boundaries of the City of Colton which has been <br />designated CSDP Project 3-5; and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the funding of that project, <br />the City has adopted CSDP Project 3-5 as the City's drainage plan <br />for that area of the City lying within County Flood Control Study <br />Zone 2; <br />
