Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, February <br />21, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of <br />Colton, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California is hereby <br />fixed as the time and place for a hearing by this City Council on <br />the question of the levying and collection of the proposed special <br />assessments for Fiscal Year 1989-90 and that any interested persons <br />may file a written protest with the City Clerk prior to the con- <br />clusion of the hearing, which protest must state all grounds of <br />objection and describe the property within the District owned by <br />them. <br />Section 9. The City Clerk shall give notice of the <br />hearing as follows: <br />(a) The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution of Inten- <br />tion to be published once a week for two (2) successive weeks as <br />required by Section 22626 and 22552 of the Code. The Colton <br />Courier is hereby designated as the newspaper in which the City <br />Clerk shall publish this Resolution of Intention. Upon completion <br />of giving notice, the City Clerk is further directed to file in <br />her office a proof of publication setting forth compliance with <br />the requirements for publishing. <br />(b) At least twenty (20) days before the date set for <br />hearing of protests, the City Clerk shall mail, postage prepaid, <br />a copy of this Resolution of Intention to all persons owning real <br />property proposed to be assessed whose names and addresses appear <br />
