R-102-89 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AGREEMENTS + <br />WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local <br />Agency"), has previously declared its intention and held and <br />conducted proceedings relating to the issuance of bonds to be <br />secured by special taxes to pay for certain public capital <br />facilities in a community facilities district, as authorized <br />pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello -Roos Commu- <br />nity Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter 2. 5, Part 1, <br />Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of <br />California, said Community Facilities District known and desig- <br />nated as FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 89-1 (PACIFIC SUMMIT) (herein- <br />after referred to as the "District"); and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time there has been submitted to this City <br />Council for review and approval, a Purchase/Financing Agreement <br />setting forth certain terms and conditions, as well as estimated <br />prices and quantities of work to be installed and financed pursu- <br />ant to the above -referenced Agreement, and a Site Acquisition <br />Agreement for the purchase of a school site; and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time there has also been submitted to this <br />City Council for review and approval, a Subdivision Agreement <br />pertaining to the initial subdivision of the property within the <br />District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />
