R-103-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS <br />MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARDING A <br />CITY MEASURE. <br />WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election is to be held in the <br />City of Colton, California, on November 7, 1989, at which there <br />will be submitted to the voters the following measure: <br />Shall Ordinance No. 0-9-89, Providing for Zone Reclassifi- <br />cation of 15 + acres of vacant land, Assessors Parcel <br />No. 164-252-10, 11, 12, from R-1 - Single Family Residen- <br />tial to C-2 - Commercial Development be adopted? <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the City Council authorizes <br />Mayor Frank A. Gonzales, Council Members E. Je <br />Rios, Connie "Paddy" Cisneros, Lerov Rehrer and <br />Max J. Lofv <br />members of that body, to file a written argument (in favor of/ <br />against) the City measure set forth in the recitals hereof in <br />accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the Elections <br />Code of the State of California and to change the argument until <br />and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no <br />arguments for or against the City measure may be submitted to the <br />City Clerk. <br />SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage <br />and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of orig- <br />inal resolutions. <br />1 <br />
