WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the <br />Petition complies with the requirements of Government Code <br />Section 53319(a) and now intends to form Community Facilities <br />District No. 89-2; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further intends to approve an <br />estimate of the costs of the Facilities for Community <br />Facilities District No. 89-2 in the approximate amount of <br />Nine Million Dollars ($9,000,000); and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City to finance and <br />construct, modify, relocate, acquire, or lease the Facilities <br />or any combination thereof through the formation of Community <br />Facilities District No. 89-2 subject to the authorization of <br />bonds and the levy of a special tax to provide for the cost <br />of police, fire protection and other services, to pay lease <br />payments, installment purchase payments or other payments, or <br />principal and interest on bonds, being approved at an <br />election to be held within the boundaries of Community <br />Facilities District No. 89-2. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows: <br />Section 1. A community facilities district is proposed <br />to be established under the terms of the Act. The exterior <br />boundaries of the facilities district are hereby specified <br />and described to be as shown on that certain map now on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk of the City entitled <br />"Proposed Boundaries of Community Facilities District No. <br />-2- <br />
