R-12-89 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZ- <br />ING ISSUANCE OF BONDS AND APPROVING <br />BOND INDENTURE FOR A COMMUNITY FACI- <br />LITIES DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local <br />Agency"), is conducting proceedings for the construction of <br />certain public improvements in a special assessment district <br />pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello -Roos <br />Community Facilities Act of 1982", beinq Chapter 2.5, Part 1. <br />Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of <br />California, said community facilities district known and desig- <br />nated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES NO. 88-1 (hereinafter referred to <br />as the "District"); and, <br />WHEREAS, this legislative body has previously declared in <br />its Resolution of Intention to issue bonds to finance said <br />improvements, said bonds to issue pursuant to the terms and <br />provisions of the "Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982"; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time this legislative body is desirous to <br />set forth all formal terms and conditions relating to the <br />authorization, issuance and administration of said bonds; and, <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented, considered and ready for <br />approval a bond indenture setting forth formal terms and <br />conditions relating to the issuance and sale of bonds; and, <br />WHEREAS, there has also been presented to the this <br />legislative body a preliminary Official Statement with respect <br />
