RESOLUTION NO. R-121-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING <br />AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPRO- <br />PRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1989-90. <br />WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, <br />1979, added Article XIII -B to the State Constitution placing <br />various limitations on the appropriations of the state and local <br />governments; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII -B provides that the appro- <br />priations limit for the fiscal year 1989-90 is calculated by <br />adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal year 1978-79 <br />for changes in the cost of living and population; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with <br />all the provisions of Article XIII -B in determining the appro- <br />priations limit for fiscal year 1989-90. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appro- <br />priations subject to limitation in fiscal year 1989-90 shall <br />be $17,876,621 for the City of Colton. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of <br />September, 1989. <br />FRANK A.
