WHEREAS, at said hearing evidence was presented to the <br />Council on said matters before it, and this Council at the <br />conclusion of said hearing is fully advised in the premises; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Council subsequent to such hearing adopted <br />Resolution No. R-123-89 establishing Community Facilities <br />District No. 89-2; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />acting as the legislative body of Community Facilities <br />District No. 89-2, does hereby resolve, determine and order <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. It is necessary to incur bonded indebtedness <br />not to exceed an aggregate principal amount of $9,000,000 <br />within Community Facilities District No. 89-2. <br />Section 2. The bonded indebtedness is incurred for the <br />purpose of financing the purchase, construction, expansion or <br />rehabilitation of certain real and other tangible property <br />with an estimated useful life of five years or longer, <br />including sewer, water, street, utility and drainage <br />improvements and other governmental facilities which the City <br />is authorized by law to construct, own or operate, within or <br />without Community Facilities District No. 89-2, which is <br />necessary to meet increased demands placed upon the City as a <br />result of development or rehabilitation occurring within <br />Community Facilities District No. 89-2, and to fulfill con- <br />tractual commitments and carry out the powers and purposes of <br />Community Facilities District No. 89-2, including but not by <br />-2- <br />
