R-127-89 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF <br />A "MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES ACT OF 1982" <br />SPECIAL TAX AND BOND AUTHORIZATION ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local <br />Agency"), has previously declared its intention and held and <br />conducted proceedings relating to the issuance of bonds to be <br />secured by special taxes to pay for certain public capital <br />facilities in a community facilities district, as authorized <br />pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello -Roos Commu- <br />nity Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter 2. 5, Part 1, <br />Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of <br />California, said Community Facilities District known and desig- <br />nated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 89-1 (PACIFIC SUMMIT) <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and, <br />WHEREAS, said legislative body did call for and order to be <br />held an election to submit to the qualified electors of the <br />District a proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness secured by <br />a special tax levy to pay for certain capital facilities in the <br />District; and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time said election has been held and the <br />measure voted upon and did receive the favorable 2/3's vote of <br />the qualified electors, and this legislative body does desire to <br />declare the favorable results of the election in accordance with <br />the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />
