R-138-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, APPROVING ANNEXATION SOUTH 48, TO <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION <br />COMMISSION (LAFCO) NUMBER 2535 <br />WHEREAS, the Loral Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), of the <br />County of San Bernardino, adopted its Resolution Number 2535 on <br />Sept. 20, 1989, making determinations and approving the proposed <br />annexation to the City of Colton territory described in Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated within; and <br />WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of annexation as approved by the <br />Local Agency Formation Commission are as follows: <br />1. The conducting authority for this proceeding shall be the <br />City of Colton; <br />2. The boundaries are approved as set forth in Exhibit "A" <br />attached; <br />3. The following distinctive short form designation shall be <br />used throughout this proceeding: LAFCO 2535; <br />4. Approval is hereby granted to proceed without notice, <br />hearing, or election with one hundred percent (100%) of <br />property owners; <br />5. County Service Area 38 and County Service Area 70 shallhe <br />detached without split of assets or liabilities; and <br />6. The date of issuance of the Certificate of Completion shall <br />be effective date of this annexation. <br />
