R-140-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF WELL NO. 6 <br />WHEREAS, <br />the <br />City <br />Council <br />of <br />the <br />City <br />of <br />Colton <br />declares <br />that <br />the <br />repair <br />of <br />Well <br />No. 6 <br />to <br />be an <br />emergency; and, <br />WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section 20168 <br />allows for emergency work to be done to safeguard the <br />life, health or property of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />waives the bid processing procedure for the immediate <br />repair of Well No. 6 in order to safeguard the life, <br />health and property of the public. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of Oct. 1989 <br />FRANK AqGOaZALES <br />Mayor <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />STEPHEN W.
