1 RESOLUTION NO. R-22-89 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING <br />3 THE RESULTS OF A "MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY <br />FACILITIES ACT OF 1982" SPECIAL TAX <br />4 AND BOND AUTHORIZATION ELECTION <br />5 WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />6 (hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local <br />7 Agency"), has previously declared its intention and held and <br />8 conducted proceedings relating to the annexation of territory to <br />9 an existing Community Facilities District pursuant to the terms <br />10 and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of <br />11 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the <br />12 Government Code of the State of California, and specifically <br />13 Article 3.5 thereof. The existing Community Facilities District <br />14 has been designated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 88-1 <br />15 (hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and, <br />16 WHEREAS, the area proposed to be annexed is known and <br />17 designated as ANNEXATION NO. 1, COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT <br />18 NO. 88-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "annexed territory"); <br />19 and, <br />20 WHEREAS, said legislative body did call for and order to be <br />21 held an election to submit to the qualified voters of the <br />22 District a proposition to levy a special tax to pay for certain <br />23 apital facilities in the annexed territory; and, <br />24 WHEREAS, at this time said election has been held and the <br />25 ineasure voted upon did receive the favorable 2/3's vote of the <br />26 jualified voters, and this legislative body does desire to <br />27 <br />28 <br />
