R-27-89 <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 84-1 <br />(Crossroads Trade Centre) <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ABANDONING ASSESSMENT <br />DISTRICT PROCEEDINGS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />("this City") has proposed to form an assessment district <br />under the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of <br />1913, Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br />State of California, for the construction, acquisition and <br />installation of public improvements on behalf of the <br />properties within a proposed assessment district and <br />acquisition of certain land, easements and rights-of-way <br />necessary therefor together with appurtenances and <br />appurtenant work and incidental costs and expenses in <br />connection therewith, for the benefit of lands within the <br />exterior boundaries of proposed Assessment District No. 84-1 <br />(Crossroads Trade Centre), all within the exterior <br />boundaries of the City of Colton, County of Riverside, State <br />of California; and <br />WHEREAS, this City Council previously declared its <br />intention, pursuant to the provisions of Division 12 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the <br />Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, to order the aquisition <br />and construction of certain street and public works of <br />improvement in said assessment district, and referring the <br />proposed improvement to the Engineer of Work for said <br />
