R-39-89 <br />--------------- <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON SUPPORTING CRIME RESISTANCE <br />GRANT APPLICATION — SECOND YEAR FUNDING <br />WHEREAS the City of Colton Police Department has undertaken <br />a project known as the "Crime Resistance Action Project" to be <br />funded in part from the California Crime Resistance Program, <br />administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning <br />(hereafter referred to as OCJP). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the <br />City of Colton is authorized, on its behalf, to submit the second <br />year funding grant application to OCJP and is authorized to <br />execute on behalf of the City of Colton the Grant Award including <br />any extension or amendments thereof. <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Colton agrees to provide all <br />matching funds required for said project under the Community <br />Crime Resistance Program and the rules and regulations of OCJP <br />and that cash be appropriated as required thereby. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder <br />shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this <br />body. <br />ADOPTED <br />-M�Marrcch�� 21 <br />eAn it tow% <br />ATTEST: <br />yy�,L,a <br />---------------------- <br />HELEN A.
