R- 43 -89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF WELL NO. 17 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />declares that the repair of Well No. 17 to be an <br />emergency; and, <br />WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section 20168 <br />allows for emergency work to be done to safeguard the <br />life, health or property of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />waives the bid processing procedure for the immediate <br />repair of Well No. 17 in order to safeguard the life, <br />health and property of the public. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day April 1989 <br />FRANK A. 0 ZAli <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
