R-46-89 <br />--------------- <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON SUPPORTING SUPPRESSION OF DRUG ABUSE <br />IN SCHOOLS GRANT APPLICATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton Police Department has undertaken <br />a project known as the "Colton Against Narcotics Project" to be <br />funded in part from the California Crime Resistance Program, <br />administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning <br />(hereafter referred to as OCJP). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />The City Manager is authorized, on its behalf, to submit the <br />first year funding grant application to OCJP and is authorized to <br />execute on behalf of the City of Colton the Grant Award, <br />including any extension or amendments thereof. <br />The City of Colton agrees to provide all matching funds <br />required for said project under the Suppression of Drug Abuse in <br />Schools Program and the rules and regulations of OCJP and that <br />cash be appropriated as required thereby. <br />Grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant <br />expenditures controlled by this body. <br />ADOPTED __A2111_1$, 1989. <br />AS <br />City Attorney <br />AT <br />-�� <br />HELEN A.
