R-52-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON ESTABLISHING <br />SEWER RATES AND CHARGES FOR USERS <br />RESIDING IN THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton owns and operates the City <br />of Colton Wastewater Treatment Plant ("treatment plant"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton and the City of Grand Terrace <br />have entered into several agreements which provide that said <br />"treatment plant" shall treat sewage from the City of Grand Terrace; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, "The Settlement Agreement and Amendment to <br />1974 Service Agreement -Sewage Transportation, Treatment and Dis- <br />posal" ("settlement agreement"), effective September 26, 1980, <br />provides that the City of Colton shall establish monthly service <br />charges for both its own and Grand Terrace users; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />The City of Grand Terrace shall remit to the City of Colton: <br />1. In accordance with Section 7 of Settlement Agreement, monthly <br />service charges equivalent to ninety percent (900) of the <br />charges established and identified on Exhibit "A," Section 1.A <br />and Section B, of Ordinance No. 0-7-89. <br />2. In accordance with Section 6 of Settlement Agreement, connect <br />charges equivalent to ninety percent (90%) of the amount <br />established and identified in Exhibit "B," Section A. <br />3. Wastewater capacity charges and permit fees equal to one <br />hundred percent (100%) of the amounts specified in Exhibit "B," <br />Sections B.1 and B.2. <br />
