R-57-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON ADOPTING THE INDEPENDENT CITIES <br />RISK MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY'S MANUALS; MODEL <br />LOSS PREVENTION, RISK MANAGEMENT AND SAFETY <br />TECHNIQUES FOR PARKS AND RECREATION, AND <br />INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS IN CONTRACTS. <br />Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Colton as follows: <br />SECTION 1: The following Manuals, including their appendices and related <br />documents, are adopted: <br />Model Loss Prevention <br />Risk Management and Safety Techniques <br />for Parks and Recreation <br />Insurance Requizments in Contracts <br />hereinafter jointly referred to as "the Manuals". <br />The Manuals are hereby adopted as the Loss Prevention Program for the <br />City of Colton for the protection of the City's human, financial, physical and <br />material resources from accidental loss. <br />SECTION 2: Each of the Manuals is adopted by reference and made a part <br />hereof as if fully set forth herein. The Manuals set forth the following: <br />Risk Management Policy, Loss Prevention Responsibilities and Methods, <br />Safety Committee Development, Occupational Illness and Injury Control, Claims <br />Management, Risk Transfer, Insurance Specifications for Contracts, and other <br />matters contained in said Manuals in reference to Fleet Safety, Accident <br />Investigation, Documentation/Record Keeping and General work Safety Rules. <br />SECTION 3: One complete copy of each of the Manuals shall be kept on <br />file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of May, 1989. <br />1 <br />
