1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER R-78-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, AMENDING THE GENERAL <br />PLAN, AS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NUMBER <br />R-3023, FOR THE CITY OF COLTON AS <br />REQUESTED IN FILE INDEX NUMBER G 2-88 <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did consider <br />an Amendment to the General Plan for the Citv of Colton, File Index <br />Number G 2-88, as amended; and <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearina was held on the proposed amendment by the <br />Planning Commission on Aoril 25, 1989; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said General Plan Amendment <br />and the action of the Planning Commission relating thereto in full <br />is familiar with contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council gave notice of the Public Hearing as <br />required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Citv Council did hold said Public Hearina on June 6, <br />1989; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did reconsider Assessor Parcel Numbers <br />164-252-10, 11, 12; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council does make the following findings; <br />1. The proper buffers exist to allow commercial zoning in a <br />residential area. <br />2. The property is isolated physically from all other residential <br />property. <br />3. The isolated parcel is too small to be a self-supporting <br />sinale family residential neighborhood. <br />4. 1110 allow single family residential development would foster <br />property decay. <br />
