R-84-89 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPOINTMENTS IN A COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA (hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local Agency"), desires to initiate proceedings to create a Community Facilities District pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 8 of the Government Code of the State of California. This Community Facilities District shall hereinafter be referred to as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 89-1 (PACIFIC SUMMIT) (hereinafter referred to as the "District")1 and, WHEREAS, at this time, the legislative body is desirous of making the required appointments and designating persona to perform certain duties, in order to allow the proceedings to go forward to complsticn in accordance with the provisions of law. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWSt SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. That throughout the course of these proceed- ings, the city Council of the City of Colton will be acting an the legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 89-1 (pacific Summit), a legally constituted governmental entity an defined by Section 53317 of the Government Code of the State of California.
