R-94-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING. <br />THE EXPENDITURE PLAN FOR THE PROPOSED <br />SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton finds that a <br />Ineed exists to provide for future revenue sources to fund transpor- <br />tation improvements throughout the City of Colton and the County of <br />San Bernardino; and <br />WHEREAS, a proposed sales tax initiative to fund transportatior <br />improvements within San Bernardino County has been developed by the <br />San Bernardino Associated Governments with representation by all <br />cities and the Board of Supervisors. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton, California, does approve the proposed Transportatior. <br />Improvement Program Expenditure Plan for distributing and admini- <br />stering any future revenues of San Bernardino County generated by <br />the proposed half -cent sales tax initiative, and urges that the <br />measure be placed on the ballot in November of 1989 for considera- <br />tion by the voters of San Bernardino County. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1989. <br />RANK A. 0 Z ES <br />May r <br />ATTEST: <br />" a- W� <br />HELEN A.
