"Serial Bonds" means the Bonds of Series A described in <br />Section 2.05(A) hereof, and as to Additional Bonds shall mean <br />Additional Bonds designated as Serial Bonds in the <br />supplemental resolution providing for the issuance thereof . <br />"Special Taxes" means the taxes authorized pursuant to <br />the Act and these proceedings and levied pursuant to the <br />provisions of Ordinance No. 89-2-1, including any proceeds <br />received in foreclosure following a default in the payment of <br />Special Taxes. <br />"State" means the State of California. <br />"Term Bond Pavment Account" means the account by that <br />name as described in Section 3.02(B)(3). <br />"Term Bonds" means the Bonds of Series A described in <br />Section 2.05(B) hereof, and as to Additional Bonds shall mean <br />Additional Bonds designated as Term Bonds in the supplemental <br />resolution providing for the issuance thereof which are <br />payable at or before their specified maturity date or dates. <br />"Treasurer" means the Treasurer-Tax Collector of the <br />County of San Bernardino. <br />ARTICLE II. <br />GENERAL AUTAORIZATION AND TERMS <br />Section 2.01 Findinas. The Legislative Body finds that <br />the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />Section 2.02 Amount. Issuance and Purnose. Pursuant <br />to the provisions of the Act and the Registered Public <br />Obligations Act of California (Sections 5050 and following of <br />the California Government Code), this Legislative Body does <br />hereby authorize the issuance, at any time under and subject <br />to the terms of this Resolution, of Honds in the maximum <br />aggregate principal amount of $9,000,000. The purpose of the <br />Bonds of Series A shall be to finance the acquisition or <br />construction of a portion of Public Facilities to meet the <br />education needs of new development within the Community <br />Facilities District, as set forth in the bond proposition. <br />Section 2.03 Descriotion of Bonds of Series A. The <br />Bonds of Series A shall be designated "Community Facilities <br />District No. 89-2 of the City of Colton, Special Tax Bonds, <br />Series A". The Bonds of Series A of each maturity shall be <br />numbered in a manner satisfactory to the Fiscal Agent. All <br />of said Bonds of Series A shall be dated the lst of February, <br />-10- <br />
