R-134-90 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON NOVEMBER 6, 1990, DECLARING <br />THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY <br />THE PROVISIONS OF LAW. <br />WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held and con- <br />ducted in the City of Colton, California, on Tuesday, November <br />6, 1990, as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the Election was duly and regularly <br />given in time, form and manner as provided by law; that voting <br />precincts were properly established; that election officers were <br />appointed and that in all respects the election was held and <br />conducted and the votes cast, received and canvassed and the re- <br />turns made and declared in time, form and manner as required by <br />the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California <br />for the holding of elections in cities; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R-79-90, adopted <br />July 17, 1990, the County Registrar of Voters canvassed the re- <br />turns of the election and certified the results to this City <br />Council, the results are received, attached and made a part here- <br />of as "Exhibit All. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the whole number of votes cast in the <br />City except absent voter ballots was 6,406. <br />That the whole number of absent voter ballots <br />and mail ballots cast in the City was 1,507, making a total of <br />7,913 votes cast in the City. <br />
