R-19-90 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENTS BY THE ELECTRIC UTILITY DIRECTOR <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, California, operates an <br />electric utility, and the head of that department of the City is <br />Gale Drews, Electric Utility Director; and <br />WHEREAS, Rourke and Woodruff, attorneys, are familiar <br />with the agreements hereinafter referred to; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that <br />the agreements hereinafter referred to be promptly executed as <br />they become available for execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, as follows: <br />With the prior approval of an attorney from Rourke and <br />Woodruff; the Electric Utility Director is authorized to execute, <br />on behalf of the City, all documents pertaining to the <br />settlement agreements as follows: <br />A. New Business Relationship with SCE (NBR) and <br />settlement of FERC Docket No. ER 81-177 (Phase II) <br />1990. <br />and EL89-6-000 and; <br />B. Settlement Agreement and Sylmar Firm Transmission <br />Service Agreement related to the settlement of <br />FERC Docket No. E-7777 (Phase II) and FERC <br />Project No. 67. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of March, <br />
