R-44-90 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON IN SUPPORT OF C -CAP <br />MANAGING PATROL OPERATIONS/MANAGING CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS <br />FUNDING FOR FINALIZATION OF 3-1/2 YEAR GRANT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton Police Department desires <br />undertake a certain project known as the "C -CAP Managing <br />Patrol Operations/Managing Criminal Investigations" to be funded <br />in part from the Career Criminal Apprehension Program <br />administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning <br />(hereafter referred to as OCJP). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of <br />the City of Colton is authorized, on its behalf to submit the <br />attached proposal to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf <br />the City of Colton the attached Grant Award Agreement <br />any extensions or amendments thereof. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Colton agrees <br />provide all matching funds required for said project <br />(including any amendment thereof) under the Program and the <br />ing terms and conditions of OCJP and that the cash match will <br />appropriated as required. <br />IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the <br />formance of this Grant Award Agreement, including civil court <br />ions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the grant <br />ipient and the authorizing agency. The State of California <br />OCJP disclaim responsibility for any such liability. <br />27 <br />28 <br />
