I. II. Effective December 23, 1989. Employees in the above -referenced classifications, with the exception of the Police Chief, will receive a 6% across-the-board increase to their salary. Additionally, several classifications shall receive equity adjustments as set forth in Attachment A. Employees salaries will then be as set forth in Attachment B. B. Effective December 20, 1990. To determine the salaries for the second year, employees shall be given the equity adjustments set forth in Attachment A. The salaries, with the exception of the Police Chief, then shall be increased by the Consumer Price Index ("CPI", 1967 Index, Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers, Los Angeles -Long Beach -Anaheim Metropolitan area) for the twelve month period ending December 31, 1990. The salary of the Police Chief shall be increased the same percentage as the Police Captain, to be determined by survey on March 1, 1991. III. LONGEVITY PAY FOR SECOND YEAR OF MOU Employees who have been at E Step received satisfactory performance years shall receive a one-time two adjustment.
