R-51-90 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF <br />LITTLE COLTON AVENUE AT MT. VERNON AVENUE <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />et__seq_ of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing as provided <br />therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all <br />that portion of Colton Avenue at Mt. Vernon Avenue as <br />recorded in Map Book 88, Page 19, records of San Bernardino <br />County, California described as follows: <br />Being all that portion of Colton Avenue <br />as shown on the map of the Colton Avenue <br />Tract in the City of Colton, County of <br />San Bernardino, State of California, as <br />per Map filed in Book 19, Page 88, Records <br />of said County, lying 36.00 feet North- <br />westerly of a line parallel with and <br />Northwesterly 42.00 feet from the Center- <br />line of saidColton Avenue as shown on <br />said Map, said portion being bounded on <br />the Northeast by the Westerly line of Mt. <br />Vernon Avenue 82.50 feet in width and on <br />the Southeast by a line measured at right <br />angles from the most Southerly corner of <br />Lot 20, Block 23 of said Tract. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street <br />purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the <br />closing of said streets, with the City reserving all utility <br />easements. <br />SECTION 2.
