R-59-90 <br />A REOSLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AFFORDING SUPPLEMENTAL COMPENSATION TO THE <br />CITY CLERK AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-49-90. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1572 fixes the salary for the position of City <br />Clerk at $370 per month, and authorizes the City Council to provide by Resolution, <br />supplemental compensation for added duties; and <br />WHEREAS, the current City Clerk, Helen A. Ramos, performs duties in <br />addition to those identified in Ordinance No. 1572. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Supplemental compensation for the City Clerk, Helen A. Ramos, shall <br />be fixed at the sum of $3,521 per month, in addition to the sum of $370 per <br />month provided by Ordinance No. 1572, for a total compensation of $3,891 per month <br />2. Supplemental compensation is specifically authorized for the <br />performance of City Clerk, Helen A. Ramos. <br />3. Supplemental compensation shall not be provided to subsequent City <br />Clerks, unless so authorized by the City Council. <br />4. In addition to salary, the City Clerk shall be provided the benefit <br />package provided to Staff Members of the Executive Unit. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution amends Resolution No. R-49- <br />90, adopted May 15, 1990, with respect to the compensation to be provided for the <br />position of City Clerk. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 12th day of June, 1990. <br />LVii*1f <br />H LEN A.
