Section 2. In accordance with Section 8833 of said Streets and <br />Highways Code, the City's consultant for assessment <br />collection services shall on behalf of the City of Colton, <br />immediately order the San Bernardino County Tax Collector to <br />credit the several assessment rolls with the amounts charged <br />thereon for the delinquent assessments as listed hereinabove. <br />Section 3. The City's consultant for assessment collection <br />services and the City's special counsel for judicial <br />foreclosure proceedings shall also: <br />a) Prepare and maintain separate records for each <br />affected property listed hereinabove of all payments <br />to which the City is entitled to collect pursuant to <br />Section 8833.5 of the Streets and Highways Code for <br />efforts and costs expended in accomplishing this <br />order to foreclose by action. <br />b) Periodically contact and inform the affected owners <br />of properties for which assessments are delinquent of <br />the status of this action to foreclose and of the <br />amounts required to be paid to the City to dismiss <br />said action. <br />c) Diligently pursue this action to foreclose toward <br />judgment in accordance with the aforementioned <br />Part 14 of Division 10 of the California Streets <br />and Highways Code. <br />-3- <br />
