R-4-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, SETTING FORTH THE "BUILDING PERMIT <br />CONTRACTOR PERFORMANCE BOND" PER ORDINANCE NO. <br />0-23-89 <br />WHEREAS Ordinance 0-23-89 advocates the creation of a <br />performance bond; and <br />WHEREAS said Performance Bond is necessary to assure <br />contractors are complying with applicable codes. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton does hereby require that a Performance Bond in the <br />amount of 50% be required for those permit types which habitually <br />and by their nature fail to call for a final or progress <br />inspections such as swimming pools, re -roofs, minor plumbing, <br />block walls, etc. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 15th day of January <br />1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
