R-14-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AFFORDING SUPPLEMENTAL <br />CCMPENSATION TO THE CITY TREASURER AND <br />REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. R-60-90 <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 829 fixes the salary for the position of City <br />Treasurer at $225 per month, and authorizes the City Council to provide by Reso- <br />lution, supplemental compensation for added duties; and <br />WHEREAS, the current City Treasurer, Michael Williams, performs duties <br />in addition to those identified in Ordinance No. 829. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RE- <br />SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Supplemental compensation for the City Treasurer, Michael Williams, <br />shall be fixed at the sum of $1,254 per month, in addition to the sum of $225 per <br />month provided by Ordinance No. 829, for a total compensation of $1,479 per <br />month. <br />2. Supplemental compensation is specifically authorized for the per- <br />formance of the City Treasurer, Michael Williams. <br />3. Supplemental compensation shall not be provided to subsequent City <br />Treasurers, unless so authorized by the City Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution repeals Resolution No. R- <br />60-90, adopted May 15, 1990, with respect to the compensation to be provided for <br />the position of City Treasurer. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 19th day of February, 1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />y4 d 7� <br />HELEN A.
