R-15-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON TO APPROVE THE HOUSING <br />ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN PER GOVERNMENT <br />CODE SECTION 65580 - 65589. <br />WHEREAS Government Code Section 65580 - 65589 mandates all <br />local governments review and revise their housing elements; and <br />WHEREAS the City has complied with state law by submitting <br />the revised element to the State Department of Housing and <br />Community Development before the deadline of August 31, 1990; and <br />WHEREAS the State Department of Housing and Community <br />Development has approved the City of Colton's submittal after <br />several revisions; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council did hold a Public Hearing on <br />April 16, 1991 to consider the adoption of the revised housing <br />element. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City <br />of Colton does hereby adopt the 1990 revised housing element of <br />the General Plan. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 16th day of April , 1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
