R- 19 - 91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />OF REAL PROPERTY FOR USE AS A MUNICIPAL <br />PARKING FACILITY AND ACCEPTING SUCH PROPERTY <br />ON BEHALF OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT <br />NO. 90-1 (MOUNT VERNON CORRIDOR) OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 53321 of the California <br />Government Code, the City Council (the "City Council") of the City <br />of Colton (the "City") has taken and completed proceedings to form <br />Community Facilities District No. 90-1 (Mount Vernon Corridor) of <br />the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California <br />(the "District"), for the purpose of providing and financing <br />certain public facilities, including municipal parking facilities <br />which are necessary to meet increased demands placed upon the City <br />as a result of development which will occur within the District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase certain <br />real property from Lebanoff-McKnight III (the "Developer") for the <br />purpose of providing a municipal parking facility (the "Parking <br />Facility"); and <br />WHEREAS, the District has taken all actions and <br />proceedings necessary to authorize the issuance and sale of bonds <br />of the District, and has sold such bonds (the "Bonds") the <br />proceeds of which will be used, for among other things, the <br />purchase of the real property for the Parking Facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase the real <br />property from the Developer for the Parking Facility from proceeds <br />
