R-48-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, DENYING APPEAL FILED BY VANIR DEVELOP- <br />MENT COMPANY, INC. FOR MERLE AND BETTY WORKMAN, <br />FILE INDEX D-73-88, 1002 N. MT. VERNON AVENUE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton did <br />consider an appeal of a Planning Commission decision to deny <br />File Index Number D-73-88 extension of conditional zone change; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did give notice of the Public <br />Hearing as prescribed by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did hold said Public Hearing <br />and considered said appeal on May 28, 1991; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, having studied such apppeal <br />makes the following findings: <br />1. The Planning Commission's action for denial was proper. <br />2. The Planning Commission granted several prior extensions. <br />3. It is in the best interest of the City of Colton to not <br />grant any further extension. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON RESOLVES: <br />The appeal filed by Vanir Development Company regarding File <br />Index D-73-88 which requested a reversal of the Planning Commission <br />decision for denial of an extension is hereby denied and the <br />Planning Commission decision is hereby upheld as valid and <br />non -capricious. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
