R-69-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AFFORDING <br />SUPPLEMENTAL COMPENSATION TO THE CITY <br />TREASURER AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. R-60-90 <br />WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 829 fixes the salary for the <br />position of City Treasurer at $225 per month, and authorizes the <br />City Council to provide, by resolution, supplemental compensation <br />for additional responsibilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the current City Treasurer, Michael Williams, <br />performs not only comprehensive treasury services, but also <br />investment, financial forecasting and money management services for <br />the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Supplemental salary for the City Treasurer, Michael <br />Williams, shall be fixed at two thousand two hundred and fifty four <br />dollars ($2,254), for a total salary of two thousand four hundred <br />and seventy nine dollars ($2,479). <br />2. Supplemental salary for the City Treasurer is <br />specifically allocated in compensation for investment, forecasting <br />and money management services; and should the City Treasurer cease <br />to perform such services, the City Council may choose to reduce or <br />delete the Treasurer's supplemental salary. <br />3. In addition to salary, the City Treasurer shall <br />receive those retirement, health, optical, dental, life and <br />disability insurance benefits provided to members of the Executive <br />employee bargaining unit. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution supersedes <br />and repeals City Resolution No. R-60-90. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 16th day of July , <br />Ns3DE <br />ATTEST: <br />Helen A.
