RESOLUTION NO. R-80-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. R-118-89, ALLOWING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />MODIFY EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. R-118-89, allowing <br />the City Manager to convert certain fringe benefits to salary in <br />instances when employees filed a notice of intent to retire; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Board has expressed concern <br />about such conversion programs and may, in fact, refuse to allow their <br />implementation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Board has notified the City <br />of its intent not to allow for conversion of benefits in its calculation <br />of retirement allowances for former Colton employees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON does hereby <br />rescind and void City Resolution No. R-118-89. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of August <br />1991. <br />�wrr�i�ri <br />ATTEST: <br />CITY CLERK <br />
