R- 9 4 - 91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, SETTING COMPENSATION FOR THE <br />THE CITY ATTORNEY AND MODIFYING RESOLUTIONS <br />NO. R-48-90 AND R-37-91 <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney is an employee of the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded negotiations with the current City <br />Attorney, Stephen Edwards, and desires to set his compensation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Effective April 26, 1991, the compensation package for the City Attorney is set as <br />follows: <br />1. Salary for the City Attorney shall be fixed at Four Thousand Five Hundred Sixty <br />Four Dollars ($4,564.00). <br />2. In addition to salary, the City Attorney shall receive optical, life and disability <br />insurance, and bereavement leave benefits provided to members of the Executive Unit. <br />3. The City shall provide the City Attorney with a medical and dental program similar <br />to that provided to other employees, including benefits provided by City Resolution No. 4598, <br />with the exception that he shall not be entitled to a cash health insurance credit. <br />4. The City Attorney shall be required to contribute seven percent (7%) of his salary <br />towards Public Employees Retirement System benefits. <br />//I <br />
