R-10-92 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON PROVIDING FOR THE DESIGNATION OF <br />THREE HISTORICAL PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />COLTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has an Ordinance establishing <br />rules and regulations governing the designation and perpetration <br />of historic and scenic properties (Ordinance No. 0-11-87); and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission did <br />consider at a duly and legally held public hearing the <br />designation of three historic landmarks; and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission, <br />having studied and researched the said designations, recommends <br />approval of said designations based on the findings that the <br />properties have significant character, interest, and value as <br />part of the development and heritage of the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, said properties to be designated are delineated as <br />follows: <br />Landmark <br /># <br />17 <br />Residence <br />269 East "D" Street <br />Landmark <br /># <br />18 <br />Residence <br />387 North 4th Street <br />Landmark <br /># <br />19 <br />Residence <br />1121 North La Cadena Dr. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly and legally held by <br />the City Council on January 21, 1992 on the aforesaid <br />recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation <br />Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Colton that, based on the above findings, the properties <br />located at the aforementioned sites are historically significant <br />
