JAN 16 192 09:59AM SAT GREEN P.4 <br />be followed in connection with the Authority's various activities <br />and actions; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />a copy <br />of the <br />proposed <br />amendment <br />entitled <br />Amendment No. 1 to <br />Amended <br />Joint <br />Exercise <br />of Powers <br />Agreement <br />("Amendment No. 1") is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br />WHEREAS.- in accordance with the provisions of the <br />Amended Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, any amendments to the <br />Amended Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement require the approval <br />of the members of the Authority and, accordingly, the Authority <br />has requested that the City approve "Amendment No. 10. <br />WKERIAS, the City has previously approved an alternate <br />version of Amendment No, i which did not contain all of the <br />changes requested by the Authority and, accordingly, the City now <br />deems it necessary to rescind its prior approval of the first <br />version of Amendment No. 1 which was accomplished pursuant to <br />City Resolution No. R-120-91. <br />NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />mon 1. The City Council hereby rescinds its <br />prior Resolution No. R-120-91 which approved an earlier version <br />of Amendment No. 1 and declares that such Resolution numbered <br />R-120-91 and the action taken pursuant thereto shall be of no <br />further force or effect. <br />2 - <br />
