R-78-92 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING A ZONE CHANGE AND GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT FROM R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) <br />ZONE TO PF (PUBLIC FACILITIES) ZONE; PLANNING <br />DIVISION FILE INDEX NUMBER DAG -24-92 <br />WHEREAS, the Rialto Unified School District has requested a <br />zone change and General Plan amendment from an R-1 zone to a PF <br />zone at the southeast corner of Randall and Meridian Avenues, to <br />accommodate a public elementary school; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has processed the application through <br />Environmental Review, in compliance with the California <br />Environmental Quality Act, and found the project to warrant a <br />Negative Declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, staff additionally processed the application <br />through Design Review and Traffic Committees to establish <br />conditions of approval levied on the project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal <br />in its entirety, at a duly publicized public hearing held on May <br />28, 1992, and recommended approval of the same. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council of the City <br />of Colton at a duly publicized public hearing held at the meeting <br />of July 7, 1992, reviewed all considerations from the appropriate <br />city agencies and approved the issuance of the Negative <br />Declaration, Zone Change, and General Plan amendment for Planning <br />File Index Number DAG -24-92. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 1992. <br />ATTEST: <br />s <br />HELEN A.
