R-23-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT BY UPDATING THE HOUSING ELEMENT; <br />PLANNING DIVISION FILE INDEX NUMBER DG -87-92. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton Community Development Department <br />has coordinated the preparation of an update to the City's <br />Housing Element; and <br />Whereas, staff has processed the application through <br />Environmental Review, in compliance with the California <br />Environmental Quality Act, and the Design Review Committee and <br />found the project to warrant a Negative Declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed <br />amendment and the accompanying Environmental Assessment, in their <br />entirety, at a duly publicized public hearing held on March 9, <br />1993, and recommended approval of the same. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton, at a duly publicized public hearing held at the <br />meeting of April 20, 1993, reviewed all considerations from he <br />appropriate city agencies and approved the issuance of the <br />Negative Declaration and General Plan amendment for Planning File <br />Index Number DG -87-92. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 20th day of April, <br />1993. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
