R-32-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVING FILE INDEX NUMBER DZG-03-93 A REQUEST <br />TO AMEND THE COLTON GENERAL PLAN FROM R-1/PC TO <br />C-2 AND A FINDING OF NO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT. <br />WHEREAS, John Reichel did apply for a Zone Change and <br />General Plan amendment for the property generally located at the <br />northeast corner of San Bernardino and Pepper Avenues; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton did properly advertise and post <br />a public hearing to consider the request for property also known <br />to be located at Assessor's Parcel Number 250-211-07 and 17; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has heard all pertinent testimony; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council made the following findings: <br />1. The proposal is consistent with the intent and <br />guidelines of the General Plan. <br />2. The application has been processed through the <br />Environmental Review process and it has been con- <br />cluded that the proposed project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment and there- <br />fore warrants a Negative Declaration. <br />3. The proposal will be consistent with its sur- <br />rounding uses when the conditions of approval <br />are met mitigating any possible negative im- <br />pacts the proposed changes may create. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does <br />hereby approve File Index Number DZG-03-93. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1993. <br />ATTEST: <br />� <br />r✓ HELEN A.
