R-61-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS <br />LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1992-93 <br />WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, 1979, added Article XIII -B to <br />State Constitution placing various limitations on the appropriations of the state and <br />governments; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII -B provides that the appropriations limit for the fiscal year 1992 - <br />is calculated by adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal year 1978-79 for changes in <br />cost of living and population; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with all the provisions of Article XIII -B <br />determining the appropriations limit for fiscal year 1992-93,; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Colton must make the necessary determinations regarding the <br />of a cost -of -living index change and the population index change beginning in fiscal year 1992-93. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations subject to limitation <br />fiscal year 1992-93 shall be $23,015,845 for the City of Colton, and BE IT FUR7 <br />RESOLVED, that for fiscal year 1992-93, the City of Colton selects the California perce <br />change in per capita income as its cost -of -living index change as determined by the California <br />Department of Finance and that for fiscal year 1992-93 the City of Colton selects the popu. <br />index change for the County of San Bernardino as a whole as its population index change. <br />
