R-09-94 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS MEMBERS <br />TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARD- <br />ING A CITY MEASURE <br />WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election is to be held in the <br />City of Colton, California, on June 7, 1994, at which there will <br />be submitted to the voters the following measure: <br />Shall the term of office of <br />Mayor be four years? <br />YES <br />NO <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the City Council authorizes <br />David Sandoval - Councilmember in Favor <br />Connie "Paddy" Cisneros - Councilmember Aaainst <br />members of that body, to file a written argument, not to exceed <br />300 words in length for or against the City measure set forth in <br />the recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, <br />Division 5 of the Elections Code of the State of California and <br />to change the argument until and including the date fixed by the <br />City Clerk after which no arguments for or against the City <br />measure may be submitted to the City Clerk. <br />SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage <br />and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of <br />original resolutions. <br />
